About the Role

POLI.design is seeking a Strategic Design Intern to join its Business Development Unit for a 4-month internship. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both internal innovation processes and external strategic initiatives with real clients.

The internship is ideal for a POLI.design Master’s student who wants to apply strategic design tools in dynamic contexts and develop skills in research, service design, and business development.

You will be part of a vibrant team and will have the opportunity to interact with key brands, companies, universities, and institutions from Italy and around the world.

Key Activities

• Help conduct in-depth market and trend research, with a focus on the future of higher education over the next 10–20 years.

• Support the mapping of internal processes using tools such as service blueprints, personas, and customer journeys.

• Assist in preparing and attending meetings with national and international clients, alongside the Business Development team.

• Help perform marketing analyses, competitive benchmarking, and trend scouting across education, design, and innovation sectors.

• Contribute to the development of project briefs, value propositions, and strategic narratives.

• Collaborate on the design and documentation of co-design workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.

• Assist in creating clear and impactful visual materials for presentations, infographics, and reports.

Requisiti:

Who You Are

• A student currently enrolled in the Master in Strategic Design at POLI.design.

• Curious and passionate about future-oriented thinking, innovation, and design for education.

• Skilled in research, synthesis, and visual communication.

• Proficient with tools like PowerPoint, Miro, Figma, or Adobe Suite.

• A confident communicator, able to work in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.

• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)—essential for working in our international environment.
