Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position:
We are looking for a Bus Operation Specialist (Arrivals and Departures - AND).
The Bus Operation Specialist will be working together with the Bus Operations senior Manager and the Bus Operation AND coordinator on the Bus Operations Project, focusing on stakeholder bus services to and from the points of entry (airports and train stations). He or she will be part of the Transport team that is responsible for reliable, sustainable and efficient transport services to, from and around all the Olympic venues.
Activities include:
- Determining the service levels of bus services, in coordination with other Functional Areas within the organisation.
- Supporting the AND coordinator in planning and designing all bus services for stakeholders that arrive and depart to the various clusters before, during and after Olympic and Paralympic Games.
- Coordinating these bus services during the operational stage, working together with the responsible bus operator.
- Align with the other functional areas within the Transport Department to verify the progress of infrastructural interventions and the availability of bus routes, parking and stopping facilities.
- Assist in the organisation of meetings, scheduling agendas, preparation of presentations and planning of activities;
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably in the field of Transports and/or Public or Private Bus Transportation;
- Experience in planning related to big Sport Events or other kind of International Events is preferred;
- Ability to adapt to a changing and complex environment;
- Interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other Functional Areas within the Organization and with External Clients and Public authorities;
- Flexibility and comfort with traveling as required;
- English: level C1 or equivalent certification;
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, especially experience with Excel is needed;
