Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position:
We are looking for Venue Protocol Specialist.
The identified resource will be responsible for:
Before the Games:
- Assist with the planning and implementation of protocol elements & operations, and appropriate level of services at the assigned venues.
During the Games:
- Welcome and oversee services provided to the Olympic/Paralympic Family on site (arrivals, lounges, tribunes, movement flows);
- Manage on-site Protocol teams (staff, volunteers, suppliers);
- Coordinate the operations with other functional areas;
- Ensure strict adherence to IOC and IPC protocol standards;
- Assist in the drafting of documents required by the function.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus);
- Minimum of 1 year;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Team-oriented, proactive and adaptable;
- High standards of integrity and flexibility.
- fluent in both Italian English (Level C2) + a knowledge of additional languages is a plus;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 + Power Point;
- Prior experience in hospitality, high-level guests services or protocol operations in large scale international sporting events;
- Able in people & services management: to deliver a service, problem solving and planning/operations management;
