Our client is an important Italian Group leader in the chemical sector applied to the food industry and for the Italian HQ we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager.


Posizione:

The Supply Chain Manager oversees and optimizes the entire supply chain process, including the commercial back office, logistics, production planning, production, warehouse operations, and product industrialization. This role ensures that all aspects of the supply chain operate efficiently and align with business goals, while also driving the seamless transition of products from development to manufacturing to ensure scalability, quality, and cost efficiency.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Commercial Back Office Management: lead the team responsible for order processing, contracts, and customer relations, ensuring accuracy and timely execution;
  • Logistics and Warehouse Supervision: develop and implement efficient transportation and distribution strategies, oversee import/export operations, and optimize warehouse layouts and material flows;
  • Inventory Management: monitor stock levels, implement solutions to prevent shortages or excess inventory, and improve data accuracy and operational processes;
  • Product Industrialization: oversee the transition from product development to production, optimizing processes, lead times, and costs to ensure scalability and fast time-to-market;
  • Production Planning and Operations: ensure production schedules are aligned with demand forecasts and company targets for quality, cost, and delivery, driving continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Cross-Functional Coordination and Leadership: foster collaboration across departments (supply chain, sales, finance, IT), leading cross-functional teams and promoting operational excellence and innovation.


Requisiti:

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field;
  • 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, production management, or product industrialization;
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of production and logistic processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office use
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
